
Brief
This year's HIX Event installation tasked four leading design studios to reimagine the iconic Business Design Centre as a hotel experience based on a deep-dive historical report on the building and surrounding area. As a partnership with Pearlfisher and 4 Corners Design we were tasked with bringing to life a digitally immersive concept of a new hotel that incorporates the experiences of natural psychedelics in modern medicine.
Solution
For the exhibition we created 2 digital experiences.
Firstly, an AR microdosing experience with interactive scenery, music and animations to demonstrate the emotional and physical journeys that hotel guests would experience.
Secondly, a magic AI wallpaper generator. On a touchscreen, guests select a few options to describe how they are feeling and what they want to experience, then we create a completely unique wallpaper design for them in a few seconds.
Results
800 unique wallpapers created and 240 Augmented Reality interactions.
